Eyes&Ears

My eyes are wide open – my ears hearken – both of these organs help me to look and to listen. I have learnt that if God wants to speak to me he can use anyone and anything, so if these organs are not alert to seeing and listening, then I might just miss an opportunity to have an experience with Jehovah. Before both these organs were made, seeing and hearing was already there, for my own good sometimes I don’t need these organs to see and to hear. I will not limit my seeing and hearing to what I have been taught. I see and hear with my Eyes&Ears within and without me.

My Eyes&Ears have been open I have listened, watched and I have learnt.

Time spent with God has taught me that being one directional and stereotype does not work well when you serve the God who owns the universe, the creator of the heavens and the earth. Remember that ”the earth is the Lord’s and its fullness thereof.”  He has a tendency of speaking through the very things and situations that we ignore and take for granted. He could use your enemy to communicate a message of peace, so let these Eyes&Ears be alert to the instruction of the one and only true God.

I am shocked that this semester alone he has used people that I had never thought would care, but he has touched hearts which are known be stone but  he has made them flesh. Help has come from dry places, where no one ever dreamt of water, but streams broke forth in the desert. That is why I insist that these Eyes&Ears have to be sharpened. I cry everyday to God to allow me to see what I need to see and to hear what I need to hear. I don’t want to see what he does not want me to see nor hear what I am not meant to hear.

In preparation for great exploits with Jehovah, I tell God, these “Eyes&Ears” will see and listen. Even before I was formed in my mother’s womb I had sight to see and the ability to hear, I will not under-utilize nor over-utilize, but I will stay at a place where these “Eyes&Ears” will create an environment of God communion.

You know:

I, you, we have limited God’s voice to preachers, prophets, evangelists, apostles and teachers; we forgot that the earth is the Lord’s and its fullness thereof. You know God can speak anywhere, anyhow, whenever, as long as these Eyes&Ears are attentive. These Eyes&Ears will not be limited, but will watch and hear.

What am I hearing?

Just like the Prophet Elijah said; And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of an abundance of rain.
